Harder than hardship, more persistent than persistence

When I saw this documentary about indie games, I was playing super meat boy, and I always thought that such a game should be developed by a funny and nonsensical production team. As a result, my guesses were correct, but I didn't expect that there were only two people in the production team, and a lot of hardships for this game.
Indie games, just like its name, are independent, independent production, everything is independent, composition, story, modeling, and overcome difficulties and endure loneliness. Documentary films don't have too many artistic techniques, they just use time as the line, facts as the pen, sadness as the ink, and finally, the ending with cheers as the full stop.
Regardless of Time and Space, Fez, or Brother Rourou, these games are made with such heart, heartache, heartache, and heartache that is unbearable. If these three games do not have the expected successful results, the author will most likely choose to commit suicide, but how many people will fail? When a game that has been changed and changed, can only be sealed as a young joke in the end, what is the ending?
I won't comment too much on the others. If an independent game brings you happiness, or brings happiness to your friends, think about the game in front of you. It may be someone like you, like me, bet everything It is made with belongings and dedication. If it were me, I would recommend this movie to anyone who has played indie games.

Indie Game: The Movie quotes

  • Jonathan Blow: If you don't see a vulnerability in somebody, you're probably not relating with them on a very personal level.

  • Edmund McMillen: My whole career has been me, trying to find new ways to communicate with people, because I desperately want to communicate with people, but I don't want the messy interaction of having to make friends and talk to people, because I probably don't like them.
