The Avengers is the father of a child, and each of the nine kidnapped people made a little mistake, but let a life wither.
Shop owner Chan was robbed, blinded, mistaken the murderer, leading to his innocent jail; black-hearted casino owner Sully loaned him loan sharks; gun dealer Leon sold him guns; AIDS prisoner Coogan raped him in prison, causing him to become infected AIDS; Eddie, an employee of the AIDS drug company, was responsible for rejecting some patients who did not meet the conditions, including him, which directly led to his death; … and so on, everyone just made some mistakes, but let a teenager die in vain.
The biggest responsible person is the unscrupulous prosecutor Kelley. She seems weak and eventually becomes one of the three people who survived, and the ending turned out to be that she shot and killed three other people, including the Avengers, one person.
