a string of words

What impressed me the most was the line of a black man who appeared only once, which shocked me.

"I am not a dancer. I am a pimp and a thief and a gambler. that's what I do. I don't have no talent to dance. I can't get my foot into cotton club where my people, black people, are the stars. Why? Because I am black. There's only two things I could do in this world. One is to stay black the other is to die. The white men only left me the underworld and that's where I dance. Sandman, where do you dance?"

Although you can't choose a black birth, you can choose a wonderful life.

The singing and dancing with more gang elements lacks the charm of the singing itself
