The beginning of the story makes people think that this is a fairy tale: a fisherman (Colin Farrell) catches a mermaid-like beauty while fishing. The fisherman's daughter naively believed that this beautiful woman was the seal girl in Scottish mythology - as long as the seal skin was buried and hidden, she could live on land with a mortal husband for seven years. The "sea seal girl" has excellent water quality. She fished out one thing while swimming one day. She told the little girl that it was her "seal skin", so the two buried the "seal skin" deeply in the flower bed. Later, a man looking for a "sea seal girl" appeared in the town, and everything went haywire...
Therefore, this story is not a simple and beautiful fairy tale, but has a more logical and perfect ending than a fairy tale. So I really have to give the writer a thumbs up! No spoilers here, as the plot is one of the highlights of the film.
Another thing to watch, of course, is Colin Farrell, who has acting skills and is handsome.
