Why this movie is good, it's clever combination of entertainment elements. The first is the humor in language. It subtly implants the language of British black humor into the plot, so that people's attention in the whole movie turns from the plot to the lines. Even looking forward to which character will appear. The second is the creation of characters. Too many failed entertainment-themed zombie movies all failed in the characters, and the characters were rigid, which led to the development of the plot becoming more and more clichéd. The vivid portrayal of this film, the different personalities of the characters, and the rightness of the key characters have left a deep impression on people. The most successful is the portrayal of the elderly in the nursing home. They have different personalities and different physical disabilities, but they unite to fight off zombies, with exaggerated expressions and different shapes. What was particularly impressive was the scene in which Khan Meaton raced with the zombies, which was literally bursting with laughter...
Looking forward to the emergence of zombie movies with more elements, which will subvert our understanding of this subject.
