This is a heart-warming movie.
Reynolds is still handsome as he gets older. The humble Michael Young may not only be in the restaurant of the movie, but he may also become Jean Reno's successor outside the movie.
Chefs who love cooking have their own stubbornness and persistence. That's an incommunicable paranoia. And it is this kind of persistence that allows real chefs to make unparalleled delicacies.
It is true that in life, such people will occasionally appear very impersonal and rigid, but their efforts and unremitting pursuit for their own persistence are indeed touching and admirable.
Both actors performed well. A little bit of paranoia, a little bit of cuteness, a little bit of hysteria.
French humor is always full of romance. We can clearly see the difference between it and American or Hong Kong-style comedy. Those small places, the details that make people smile, will not be too exaggerated or have the feeling of being forced in, but they fit the story to be told in the whole film, and also describe the characters in more detail. The character adds to the fullness of the character.
Friends who like French comedy, you can watch this film.
