slammingscreendoors:

I can't even begin to explain how amazing this movie was!

My school had an advanced screening of it and so my friend and I went today and I LOVED it! At first, you think it's all about Nina and David (Leighton and Hugh Laurie)'s affair/relationship (whatever you want to call it) but it's not. It's about everyone trying to be happy and pursue their happiness. All of the actors did an amazing job (especially Leighton, but I am biased lol ) too!

And, the producer was there and he did a q&a and talked about the movie (my friend and I stayed for a little but of it but we had to leave halfway through) and it was interesting to hear about the movie/actors/production from him! (He said the reason why it took so long for it to come out was because they spent a year editing it because, at first, some people didn't like it so they had to cut somethings, including a 25 second Nina and David sex scene and the movie was so low budget but I don't even think you can tell)

I really loved this movie and really recommend it! It was hilarious and just a great movie! It's probably my new favorite movie (and I thought nothing would beat Country Stong lol)

Vanessa: [narrating] The question of happiness has preoccupied philosophers, poets and pharmaceutical companies for thousands of years. Clearly, it's a tricky one.
