Is love above all else? The title of <<72 Hours of Tribulation>> (The Next Three Days) makes people think that it is just another Hollywood crime film, and it cannot express the meaning of the original French version of "Anything For Her". It is covered in a few words: In order to save his wife who was wronged and imprisoned, an ordinary family man did not hesitate to offend black and white. The French version of the poster shows the couple dragging their son at the airport, looking back nervously; the Hollywood version only has a close-up of the male protagonist’s face and a lined and photo-pasted map. Robbing the bank or assaulting the den of thieves, this kind of propaganda strategy does not know whether it is smart.
In fact, under the continuous action, you can watch this drama as a romance. The actor, John, was originally a literature teacher who taught at a community college, and his family of three also worked well. One morning suddenly a group of police broke into the house and arrested his wife, accusing her of murdering her boss. All the evidence found was against her. John failed to appeal his appeal, but he was convinced that his wife was innocent and decided to take prison. Russell Gore did not go to fitness because it was an action movie, but drove him to play this "ordinary man", an amateur hero with a fat body.
The action scenes of "Surprise" are not particularly outstanding. Anyway, John will not have the agile and neat skills of a spy, he is always a little hesitant and clumsy; he does not have any professional knowledge and special skills, even making lily keys to unlock I also watched Youtube to learn, and I almost got arrested after he failed to hit the board. His major is literature, which is not only useless, but also the culprit-he is facing the student professor "Don Quixote", romance overwhelms reason, regardless of the consequences, he himself has to become a knight who challenges the windmill. A gentle gentleman wants to become a criminal who ignores the law and disciplines and harms the innocent. The conflict of intelligence and power with the police and the bandit is obvious, but his innocent belief in his wife, and therefore step by step, will attack conscience and legal principles. Norms create tensions on internal boundaries. He shouted at the defense lawyer because the other party confessed that it was impossible to return his wife's innocence through legal means. To the newly met single mother, he was cautious and evasive, but could not help revealing the secret that his wife was a murderer; but he He is always gentle towards his wife and children, but full of thoughts. Russell Gore used melancholy eyes to interpret this affectionate and depressive ordinary man, planning a robbery without anyone else, which made him even more lonely. His persistence is terrible. Even if his wife herself was desperate, she tried suicide and even told John that she really killed someone. He insisted on his belief: "No matter what you say...I know who you are." Here is a little suspense in the play, which makes the audience guess whether his wife really killed someone, but John is crazy and obsessed with it. The downside is that the script doesn't explain how the couple met, fell in love, and got married before. We also don't understand the "what kind of person" the wife John knew was. But it can only be remedied by the acting skills of the two actors. John’s frowning brows and firm eyes on both sides, and his wife’s expression shocked by his determination when he was thinking about giving up, probably managed to convince the audience to stand with the protagonist. On the one hand, accompany him to the end.
In the scene where John recalled "Don Quixote" in the classroom, he once asked if he ignored the reality and went to the end, is it necessarily crazy? But he has never lost control of his emotions, because he has to do something big that he has never done before. No matter what the plan is, there will be unexpected events, and he must remain calm and act accordingly. Finally, John finally took his wife and children and fled to Venezuela, as if he could have settled down, but his brows were still tightly frowned-did the matter really pass? He robbed prison because he was convinced that his wife did not kill, but instead committed murder and arson. He didn't know how many innocent citizens were caused trouble during his escape, and he was no longer innocent. The son has always been worried because his mother became a murderer; now that the family is running away and the children are watching, what impact will it have on his growth? Even if the ending allows the audience to confirm the innocence of John's wife (this arrangement is abruptly refuted), there are loopholes in the legal system, but John did not win the final victory, but his persistence in love brought more confusion. John's last heaviness is very different from the last release of "The Shawshank Redemption" (The Shawshank Redemption) who also escaped to a foreign country. This time Don Quixote rushed into the windmill, but could not get out.
