Rowland, a literary research assistant in London, stumbled across a few manuscript pages from an ancient book from the London library. It was an unfinished letter from the great Victorian poet Ash, written to an unknown lady. Out of intuition, he began. Consult the historical documents and secretly start the investigation. During the process, they meet the female doctor Maud who specializes in the research of the female poet Lanmont. Through the research of various old diary and poems, the two reveal little by little the inconsistency between Ash and Lanmont. The well-known secret feelings, even tracing the two poets' only honeymoon-like romantic trip to Yorkshire along the way, the feelings of the two modern people who are unavoidable in love are slowly blooming.

Generally, lackluster. Victorian CPs are more glamorous. Why did the little girl lose the letter at the end? A veritable asshole!

Possession quotes

  • Roland Michell: So what are we gonna do now? We gonna try to beat'em to France, or - or are we just gonna stare at each other?

Maude: That is the question, isn't it?

    Roland Michell: Mm-hmmm

Maude: I have another one for you.

    Roland Michell: What's that?

Maude: What are you really doing here?

    [clears throat]

Roland Michell: I want to see if there's an us in you and me. Would-Would you like that?

[Maude leans over and kisses Roland]

Roland Michell: I'll take that as a yes.

  • Roland Michell: Don't worry about me. I'm kind of a brush and flush kinda guy.

    [seeing Maude's repulsed expression]

Roland Michell: Forget I said that.

    Maude: I'll try.
