With you is a better life

"Better Life" is indeed one of the few movies that can make me cry, and it's a story that plays out every day in North America in the 21st century. About a father who wanders every day without a job, about a son who doesn't fall in love with school and mixes with "bad boys", and about people who cross the border in search of a better life.
Writing a review like this isn't easy, even if it's just standing off screen watching someone else's story at the moment, because it made me cry. So much so that if I want to describe a certain plot, I have to move the scene out of my mind. It seems like a painful memory, recalling their unhappy life.
Buying a used truck for $19,000, then buying new furnishings and ornaments in the car, and praying before driving. And when he sent the truck to wash, he watched from a distance as the car washer was wiping with a rag on its truck, but you could see that kind of eyes, as if there was not a ragged truck, but It is the most important treasure in this world, full of expectations, full of gratitude, and it seems to have become a ticket for a better tomorrow. "It's not mine, it's ours." "We're moving out of here to get you a better school, and I don't have to go to work on Sunday, so we have more time together." Such commonplace words , but unexpectedly warm and soft, it made my heart flutter.
But the story is doomed to twists and turns. People who were kind yesterday will become another "devil" today because of the force of life. He climbed up the tall palm trees as if he saw the whole city at his feet, bowed his head, the truck he bought yesterday was stolen today. Is it easier for good people to believe in others, because they believe in others and get on with their own tomorrow? "If I can't find it, I can only..." The boy who usually hangs around is finally clutching his hair at a loss. The dark tones in the room are more like showing the depression that cannot let tears burst. One moment I thought I could get close to heaven, and the next moment I was beaten back to hell. The pressure of life made him go looking for a car thief without having to eat, but when the boy said "no, we have to face it together", it seemed like he saw hope in the depths of despair, even if nothing happened. No, he still has his mijo.
The boy who doesn't seem to be doing his job properly and who doesn't love school, the boy who fights every day and gets suspended from school. It also asked ignorantly, "Why did you give birth to me in the first place? Why do poor people have children? What's the point?" It also answered sullenly, "No." At that moment, I seemed to have seen many years ago. They asked the same questions and said the same words, but they didn't know that they were so sad when they sat opposite; they knew they were looking with hope, but they put out all the love with cold words.
How long will it take us to understand? How long will it take us to grow up? How long will it take us to learn to repay the deepest, deepest and most precious love?
He said "I don't want you to get into trouble."
"I don't have to worry about you. You ain't gotta worry about me."
"I just worry, I worry about you all the time. But I do worry. I worry about you all the time."
Fortunately, he was always there.
"Be careful, son." "Hold on, it'll be fine soon." "Thank you for coming with me."
Even though life was so hard, he still kept his promise and continued to do what he thought was right with everything he could.
That $5 calling card had become his only tool for communicating with the outside world, and all his courage to continue supporting, so what was there to fear?

"You asked me why I gave birth to you, you know, when we came home, I just did what every man should do, find a woman, get married, and come to the north That's it, because I don't know any other way out. So here we are, and then, with you."
"Why."
"Because my mother and I were still in love with each other at the time, but then, people changed and things changed. Your mother changed too. I couldn't satisfy her with what she wanted. So, she left. There is only you and me left, no money, no stable job, and I don’t know how to live with a young you. I am also very angry, but there is only one thing that supports me and helps me through the difficulties , that's you. Being able to take care of you and watch you grow is what drives me. Because I love you. Son, you are the most important person I have in this world. I, I want to give you everything you want Stuff, if you can get ahead, then I think it's all worth it. That's why I gave birth to you, for me, for me, for a reason to live. I'm sorry it ended up like this. I wish you didn't have to see I'm so sorry for letting you down."
"No, Dad, you never let me down."
"I'm not doing well."
"You're doing well, you're always doing well, always."

At the end of the film, Caroline embarks on the long road to smuggle to the United States again, with dead stones and gravel, weeds and yellow leaves. That scene is quite like the deeds of a practitioner.
But, you know, when I'm with you, there's a better life there.

Life is one that can make you feel the real despair and pain. The motivation is weak, but it is very long. I can really understand the despair brought by the wave after wave of despair in the adversity. This is the people at the bottom. life
