Before watching AVP, I always thought "Predator" refers to Uncle Shi and Uncle Jim. It wasn't until AVP that there was a heavy fog, and the predator had always been referring to the mask monster. In fact, it was also because I was not careful, I only knew that the Chinese translation was Predator, but the English name already clearly pointed out: Predator, predator. For humans, the masked man in the first and second parts is indeed a predator. He skinned people, pumped their backbones, and digs out their hearts. Although they were all defeated in the end, it was only human beings who were fighting as food, not prey. Before I watched AVP, I thought it was human beings who were engaged with the mask man again, but in the end did I realize that humans are just supporting characters, and the real protagonists are the saliva monster and the mask man.
It was actually quite painful when I watched the first part. Even if I don't mind the roughness of the movie screens and the immaturity of the background music, the first plot is too tough. It is not like a movie but a fighting game. After a hard fight, the Arnold KO masked man. I watched the first part at most 20 minutes a day, and it was too sleepy. A thriller that is not scary at all, a martial arts movie that is not fierce at all, and a trivial movie that is not funny at all. This is what I defined for the first one. Yes, if I had seen this when I was a child, I might understand the shock it brought to people at the time, and I would also understand the beautiful nostalgia when people talk about him now. But unfortunately not. What I am watching now is just a movie rather than a generation of memories, so I can't give it a good comment in the end.
In view of the tragedy of the first part, it was really tangled for a long time in order not to watch the second part. Obviously obsessive-compulsive disorder has overcome the fear of bad movies. The second one made me feel much better than the first one. Although Uncle Jim was too watery in the front, at least the second half of this movie can be watched in one go. The second film review has already been written, so I don’t want to say too much. But at least I didn't hesitate to start the third part the next night.
AVP was filmed in 2004. Compared with the first (1987) and the second (1990), it is very close to the current horror film. This one solves a few questions left in the first two parts, but I still feel that it is feasible for each of these three parts to appear separately without being in series with the other two parts. In fact, I haven't seen the first two parts at all. It will not affect people's understanding of this part. Obviously, this movie does not exist to answer questions. But it gives a more complete introduction to the background of the masked man. At least in this one, the two protagonists have been out of mystery. But why did the predators in the first and second parts appear (the third part says that the earth is once every 100 years), why they hunt humans, and what is the relationship between them and heat, etc., are still unanswered.
As a horror movie, AVP is not outstanding, but by no means mediocre. In some places, I still get a little shocked, and the desire to know the final result makes me can’t wait to kill it overnight. Throughout the story, it was a typical "death one by one" state. In the end, Sister Niu was left, who joined forces with the masked man to kill the drooling monster. The masked man's appreciation for Sister Niu and the ritual of ancient warriors for her made me think that Sister Niu would go to their planet with the mask, and I couldn't help but fantasize about their offspring. . . . . But the iron and blood died, and he did not escape the fate of the hero. The scene where Sister Niu kneels beside the masked man is too similar to a martial arts drama. It's a pity that the mask leader took away the iron-blooded corpse and gave it to Sister Niu's weapon (is it iron-blooded?), a cool and handsome shake of his head left a distant back and left. But, Master, have you ever thought about how to leave Sister Niu alone? Okay, Sister Niu might be able to send a signal or something. In the end, as expected, there was also a small saliva in the iron blood. This slobber should have evolved, and it has both the mouths of the mask male and the slobber monster. Go back and compare, the mouth shape of the baby with saliva was not like this before. Moreover, the incubation period has become longer. Q: Didn't the other mask men scan the body of the hero mask man?
The end of this movie is to tell you, yes, I'm not over yet, there is another one. Except for the slobber baby, the slobber queen did not say that he was dead.
Perhaps the biggest flaw in the movie is that there are too many tasteless scenes, such as the selfie scene of a chemistry expert, including Niu's answer on the "safe return point" on the plane and so on. These scenes have no effect on the development of the whole story, and there is no such thing as foreshadowing. Human archaeologists once said that this is a trap to attract these sacrifices. In fact, this should be a wrong understanding. Imagine the last hunt 100 years ago, in 1904, was technology the same as it is now? Go ahead? Until the time when human civilization is civilized? So, everyone on the expedition is sorry, you are just out of luck.
After watching AVP, I have begun to look forward to AVP2.
finally. . . The slime spider is the most disgusting! ! !
