"A String That Moves My Heart" is similar to "Youth with Hot Blood", both are teachers who came to the chaotic and poor black districts of New York, the difference is that the heroine Lobeta does not rely on the ideal of passion and teaching to educate people like a hot-blooded teacher. When she started teaching, she was passive. A divorced woman who was abandoned by her husband with two sons needed a job to support her family. With her superb violin skills, sincere care, strict teaching style and years of perseverance, Finally, a group of outstanding students has been cultivated. When her finances dwindled and her classes faced being cut, she chose to persevere, resist, cooperate, seek help, and finally held a successful fundraising recital in the sacred Carnegie Hall with the help of many world-renowned violinists.
From Lobeta's failed marriage, there may be some lessons for women. First, whether it is a job or not, women must have a skill that can make a living; secondly, a lover who is not suitable and does not promise to love should break up categorically (if it is with a man Women who have the same mentality of getting together and dispersing games don’t have to be); again, thank the person who abandoned you like you are thankful for failures and setbacks. Just as, Lobeta's mother said, without Charlie (Lobeta's ex-husband), you would not be today; finally, when facing divorce or family disputes, tell the truth frankly to the child, but still love him and believe the truth is more affordability.
Finally, I will take stock of Lobeta's teaching methods in the video. One is the rule of thumb, the other is to tell students the truth of their performance, the third is to give children opportunities according to the situation, the fourth is to encourage students, the fifth is to teach them interestingly, and the sixth is to believe in students.
The director of teaching at the end said on the stage at Carnegie Hall that when Lobeta was hired, Lobeta told her that "every child can learn the violin." So I decided to let my 4-year-old daughter try an instrument that didn't work, the piano , violin, no matter what it is, let her choose a music course first, try and persevere, not for exams, not to become a musician, but to let her soul feel art.
