When the Doctor told Mr Crowley that we had done our best,i'm sorry .But maybe u could take it as a blessing for ur daughter finally get rid of the suffering. At the moment i was thinking the doctor is right. Death is much better than endless pain , especially when urself is not only the one who is suffering but ur loved ones as well. Maybe this is the best ending, a blessing. However, John and Aileen were silent without a saying anything . Then i suddenly realize that was cause they know at that moment under such circumstance, any single word would be capitulation to death as well as a betray to their beloved daughter. They havd confidence in her just like the little girl had in herself. They havd confidence in her just like the little girl had in herself. just knew that she can make it, they all wanna a miracle.
Megan and Patrick are born with the rare disease of Pompe. They are children born to be die. Their life expectancies are estimated much shorter than normal people. For most of their lives, they are bound to a chair, supported by a respiratory system. They've been deprived of running with laughter and joy and all sorts of games played among other children. However, what can be called as a blessing is that they have got the greatest parents in the world .Their love, to some extend, is incomparable.
When Megan's life was jeopardized and lying in the ICU, her desperate father ,Mr Crowley just threw away all his responsibility and flew thousands miles across to save her little daughter's life. He wanted to make a miracle himself.
This decision was crazy and totally out of desperation, it's far beyond the father-love u can ever imagine. When his rushed out from his office where a important meeting was on the go, without telling her wife a single word about his plan, he was ready to take the risks and sacrifice all he owns to save her daughter. He knew that if he ruined the meeting he would lose his job, and , the children's health care. That means they'll have no money to gain treatment which will sustain their lives.
It's too risky, especially, when u even know nothing about who u can turn for help, where exactly he is, whether or not he will help u, how he can help and what the results are. The desperate father just want to have a try without a moment's hesitate. Because he knew, if u just sit there and wait, there will never be a miracle taking place itself. Miracles are been made by our own hands.
Then, fortunately or not, whatever u say, Mr Crowley found this eccentric and stubborn old man--Professor Robert Stonehill. Its not a easy job to get along with him. Let alone start a tough business with him. He has the cure to save Megan and Patrick, that's why such a weird man finally became a blessing to The Crowleys. The way to save lives is not smooth, even much stiffer than u can imagine. But just like any other courageous heroes and encouraging stories, the movie got a happy ending. A blessing, u may call it, endowed by love and persistence.
Blessing, we can make it.
