The Chumscrubber, the name of a video game, the film also reflects the topic of adolescence. The neglect between children and parents, the indifference of the adult world is chilling. Even under the same roof, they don't know what's going on inside their child's closed door. A mother thought her son was shutting herself in a room, but it was empty and her son had been kidnapped for two days; a mother only heard the loud music coming from the room, but did not know that her son was destroying inside. smashed everything; another mother was in the garden chatting with guests at a party, not knowing that her son was hanging his young life on ropes in the next room. These kids are forgotten, no one cares what they are doing, thinking, existing or not.
The cast and soundtrack are great. HP went to two, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs. RF is a bit mysterious in it, and there is a little magical color on his body. The watermark he stepped on is a dolphin. There is also a young Berlin actor LOU TAYLOR PUCCI, Trini in The Matrix plays Jamie's mother, Mahon in Prison Break plays his father, and the film who plays Jamie's younger brother looks like Macaulay King. Tom Hanks' wife Rita Wilson also plays RF's fiancee in it, which is very beautiful.
The soundtrack is strong, featuring James Horner from Titanic and Braveheart.
This film develops in several lines, so although Jamie is the protagonist, there are not many scenes, and the performance is OK. What I remember more deeply is the wicked smile on the corner of his mouth, which is fascinating. Of course, there are also emotional changes. At the beginning of the film, he saw his friend hang himself in shock, confusion, and overwhelmed, so he walked out of the door and said "Goodbye, Mrs. Johnson" to the deceased's mother.
