Father's love knows no bounds

The film tells the story of a father who created a special medicine for a pair of children with Pompe. Probably because I have children myself, I am particularly moved when I see videos about parents and children.

This story is based on real events. Jonh is an ordinary employee of a company with a beautiful wife and three children, but unfortunately two children suffer from Pompe. When the child's body was slowly approaching the limit, with the support of his wife and children, John gave up his job as vice president, and together with Dr. Stonehilly, who researched the Pompe special enzyme, set up a biological development technology company, just to find a way to save the child. The miracle cure for life - one of them wants to prove his theory correct, the other clings to his last chance to save his child. During the trial, production, and clinical process, John encountered numerous difficulties and obstacles, but he persevered strongly.

There is a particularly moving scene in the movie.

When John and Stonehill's labs were acquired and pushed out of the new company, John invited families who also had Pompe children to the company to talk about their children. The children with Pompe disease are lying in wheelchairs one by one, their hands are drooping, and they need to rely on the outside world to even breathe, which makes people feel distressed. Especially in his arms, Megan, who is only four months old, looks normal on the surface, but is also tortured by Pompe. Parents of children, sincerely thank the workers who have worked hard on the research of Pompe's special medicine. In this way, John made the researchers who study special medicines feel the responsibility they shoulder. They are not only doing scientific research, but also saving countless children with dreams.

Hard work always pays off. John's sons and daughters took special medicines as clinical research subjects. Under the influence of the drug, the little brother's laughter, which sounded like the sound of nature, touched John, Stonehill, and me.

People say that a mother is the greatest, and a father's love is no less.

John showed us a strong, hard-working father who gave up a lot for his children, and asked himself, if I encounter such a situation, can I give up myself like John. The answer is yes, but whether it can be done is difficult to say.

Another highlight in the movie is the friendship between John and Stonehill. From initial rejection to trust, to misunderstanding, to return, men don't need much language, and the same beliefs allow them to achieve their goals in the end.

Finally, I want to say, I hope every child can be healthy
