This semester, I take a course called "Thursday night at the movie" which mainly focus on talking about the hero and heroine and to know more about American film.
I like movie. Last night was the first class, so our professor talked something about the course then we started to see the film.
It is an old film that the story happened in 1882, professor refer to 1882 several time and wanted us to mention something important happen during that time. The color is simple in the film, white and black but i think it is enough to express the theme of the film.
The first time to see an English film without Chinese characters but we could understand most of it.
Four cattlemen came arcoss to the down Tombstone, but their cattle had been killed when they went out to the down and one of their brother called James had been killed. They douted it was another group of cattleman done in the down. ( i can' t remember their name very well, so that is why i see the film carefully, but when the film fished, i do really know the story, but what can we see after the film?,in this part, i learn less).
At last, Earp do win the war, but he loved Doc. Holliday's fiancee Clementine, but at last, he did not express the feeling to her though she also had the same feel. Maybe from this part, we could learn something about the society view of American old society or do it has something to do with the culture? What is some other things behind the film that the film director John Ford did not show them in the film?
Let's wait and see...because our professor will discuss the film next class and find the answer!
But it is a good film to see~
