Drift between good style and good Qi

Plot:

In the early to mid-1960s, there was a mod boom in the UK. What is a mod family? It was a group of post-40s youths who were not in place at work or did not want to be in position at that time. They were addicted to modifying their Vespa motorcycles, a suit + duck shit green jacket + too short Levis jeans fashion, addicted to Wanzai, Party , sex and street fights. This film is about the shapeless life of this group of young people.

There are many movies depicting marginalized teenagers. Why is this set regarded as a classic by the British? Because it deeply expresses that kind of "I wanna be different!" But in fact, everyone thinks this way, everyone is a bunch of fools, doing some meaningless things that seem cool but are actually very funny. . The search for a uniqueness that doesn’t exist in the first place is all about identity and a collective identity.

For example:

- Modify your motorcycle like this to show off your power on the street.

Friends who have lived in Shatin, must have seen similar modified bicycles in the 1980s and 1990s? Do you think it's good-looking or good-looking?

-Wear wet jeans fresh from the phone wash and let them shrunk to a snug fit.

-Bubble girl, quickly got together with a girl, but was very painful when someone flew up, and made a pain in front of the girl.

- Take medicine, binge on amphetamines.

-Occasionally do not go to work, but forgot to take the doctor's paper and let the boss scold.

-Dancing and taking medicine at the bar, so high that you jumped off the second floor.

-Mods are always fighting against Rockers, often fighting in the street, but both gangs are basically boring and useless young people.

- Listening to some indie bands, I thought I was good looking and different.

This film is able to capture that era, to reminisce about those useless times (the film is a work of 1979). The way of shooting is very smooth, and the characters are impressive. Sting, who made his debut in the film, played a limelight in Mods, and he was shocking (but in the end, he was just a little bell boy who was yelled at in a hotel, which is ironic). As the director said, these mods are not keen on any social revolution, they are just rebelling for the boring and meaningless life, and they can't imagine any more satisfying society.

Now it seems that this 30-year-old movie is still very trendy (personally think it is more trendy than "Transpotting"). Without the background of the big era, no one died, no unforgettable love, no brothers against each other, no regrets for a lifetime of youthful regrets, it turned out that it could be performed so wonderfully.
