After watching the whole film, I found some anticlimactic.
The synopsis says: An Irish fisherman found the water nymph Ondine in his net. This girl in German mythology has no soul. She must learn to love human beings and sacrifice eternal life in order to give herself a soul.
In fact, it's all a myth, or a fantasy of the young daughter of the Irish fisherman (Colin Farrell) in the film. However, the little girl was very handsome and beautiful. The woman who changed her name to "Oundin" was not a fairy tale beauty or a seal girl, she was just an Eastern European woman who escaped with drugs after cooperating with drug dealers.
Of course, director Neil Jordan did not take this as a commercial film, but took a unique approach and made it a love story. It's just that when the ending was announced, it made people feel that the front was making up mysteries and hanging the audience's appetite.
Somewhat disappointed.
However, I found that Colin Farrell's eyebrows are getting thicker and darker, a little like Crayon Shin-chan. Ha ha···
