When I saw the scene at the end of Fireproof, I took the oath again in the holy name of Jesus, and my heart suddenly shook. After 3 years, I saw this scene again, and I didn't have any feelings.
Love is always a deep word. Due to human limitations, it is impossible to truly love another person only by human strength. Because human love is motivated, conditional, and needs to be obtained. I remember there was such a sentence: "If love has a cause, it is not love; if love has an effect, it is not love; love is beyond cause and effect.". Boys are puzzled by girls because girls cannot express the self-esteem that boys need; girls are puzzled by boys because boys ignore girls' feelings. The two sides were simply incomprehensible, and slowly expanded into a strong contradiction, and finally burst into a huge emotional rift, which almost led to the tragedy of broken marriage.
Neither of the two emotional parties has seriously considered what love is. They care more about returns, and their essential purpose is to obtain, rather than true love. The Bible says that God is love. Love is a kind of purity, love is a kind of non-seeking, love is a kind of detachment. Love him, what to do with him. What the Lord has given us is sunshine, rain and dew, an exquisite survival system, and an incomparably noble spirit. This is the gift of the Lord to us, and the love of the Lord for us. And we should learn how to dedicate ourselves, how to reflect the Lord's love, if we use the Lord's love we perceive to shine on more people. We are all just water droplets, refracting sunlight and warming the whole world.
So there are two things we can do: 1. Turn ourselves into clear dewdrops, in order to refract more sunlight and welcome the love of the Lord; 2. Refract the love of the Lord, and let the love of the Lord reflect from your life , glorify the Lord. In fact, what we can see is that when the boy welcomed the love of God and felt the sunshine of life, his whole life became brisk and rhythmic, just like the throbbing notes, he loved the girl unconditionally, As for the result, he didn't care too much. He only knows that he is very happy, because he has achieved the purest love.
There may be many non-believers who feel weird after seeing it, or feel disapproval, or even stretch their faces to resist at a glance. Many things in life only depend on whether you believe it or not. If everything in the world, if your life, your fortunes, and all your goodness are blessings from a God silently behind your back, why should you try to respect him and feel his goodness?
In the end, I just want to say, love with your heart, everything has its own arrangements.
