Revisiting the Journey to India

The first time I saw the film "A Trip to India" was a little girl. I was ignorant at the time. Although I didn't fully understand the meaning of the film, I thought it was a very good film, and I was attracted by a mysterious power. Also, I don't think the heroine is pretty.
A few years later, with the growth of age and experience, I was deeply shocked by watching this film again! The thought and energy deep in the film is huge and profound. It's like watching "A Dream of Red Mansions", every time you read it, you will have new insights. The overall magnificent and atmospheric handwriting of the film and the meticulous portrayal of the characters are all convincing. At the same time, it was discovered that the heroine is actually very beautiful, a natural and real beauty, which is beyond the reach of the artificial beauties seen by modern people in Hollywood. The only regret is that the music doesn't really stand out.
It is often said that a good book cannot make a good movie. From this movie, I have deep expectations for the original book. Think, if you have time and energy, look at the original book.

It is difficult for the two civilizations in the colony to coexist peacefully. The power status of the two civilizations in society is unequal, and neutrality can never be adopted. Fielding is such a person, but he is rejected by both sides. Aziz was once an eclectic group, and even yearned for the elite culture of the United Kingdom, but after being falsely accused, he completely woke up, ditched the suit and replaced it with a traditional robe, and his attitude towards white people became tougher. Foster's concept is relatively optimistic. He believes that human nature can still understand each other, no matter what civilization we are in. But I think it is meaningless to talk about equal exchanges between civilizations in a colonial system or a post-colonial system.

A Passage to India quotes
