can't hold on

The 8th episode of the third season, I tried to play it with pps several times and finally gave up...
But I have to say that the lack of smooth playback is not the main reason, this episode can't be said to be bad, it should be said that the quality is passable, there are a few The characters are pleasing to the eye, there are a lot of dark pasts, and some episodes are quite deep, but it seems that there is something missing, which makes me feel that I need to rely on will to survive. My life also has a limit, and American dramas have no limit. It seems that we just have no fate.

I remember an episode in Monk describing the FBI, wearing a black suit and sunglasses, driving a big black car, full of colorful lights and buttons, wearing headphones, holding a micro wheat, and trying to control the situation as soon as it came, stubborn and complacent, Almost ignored others. This kind of simple, flat and even a bit joking image, for some reason, there is a certain overlap in the play without a trace, which features the FBI as the frontal protagonist. Think about Jack and his digital subordinates, it's basically the same, right? They are the most erroneous detectives in a crime drama I've ever seen. Yes, people, it didn't happen to a single person or a few people, it was them all. And many of them are rudimentary, technical mistakes that you should know to avoid even in the most emotional state. Watching this drama, I have a deep feeling. It turns out that the FBI are not policemen or soldiers, they are government employees. In essence, they are clerks. Or in other words, I don't think they are "strong". Their abilities are that of ordinary people, so they also make mistakes that ordinary people make. This way of expression may make people feel friendly, but to me, it is a bit boring.

But you have to get a ticket for without a trace. If you want to watch crime movies but hate the bloody corpse and remains, you can watch this without hesitation. I don't know if it's because of the low budget or what, most of the bones in this play are vague, often outside the screen... and there is basically no forensic scene. As I said above, the characters, the plot and the clues are actually quite decent and of good quality, but compared to my other favorite crime dramas, there are still a few bright spots.

  • Samantha: Well, you just got your head handed to you.

Martin: Wouldn't be the first time.

Samantha: I guess some things around here won't change to much.

Martin: I was thinking some things will, though.

    Samantha: What do you mean?

Martin: [quietly] I mean you and me. We, um, sort of got interrupted this morning.

    Samantha: Yeah, we did.

Martin: [smiles] I'll walk out ahead of you.

    Samantha: [quickly] Okay.

  • Martin: So, Scully, you done yet?

Samantha: I still have about a half hour here.

    Martin: [sighs] Okay.

Samantha: [smiles] You know, I still haven't seen your apartment.

    Martin: No, you haven't

Samantha: So I'll come by later?

Martin: [nods and smiles] Sounds good.
