Abducted, "Moving Soul City"

"Another mystery." He

went to a relatively new community to help a friend that day . When he left, he talked about the situation when he left the community for the first time: It was late at night, and he was anxious to go home. Open, but found that the more things go wrong, the more things go wrong. After passing unknown intersections, crossing another bridge, and driving onto the expressway, only to find that the surroundings had been deserted and there was no light.

It suddenly dawned on him that he quickly turned around.

After what he said, I remembered two movies, one of which was "The City of Moving Souls" in 1998.

"Moving Soul City", also known as "Aurora Pursuit", is a dark-style sci-fi suspense film. The suspense in the first half of the film is significant and attractive. The latter part is highly sci-fi and thought-provoking. Nowadays, watching this film from the late 1990s, one feels like watching the crowdfunded short film "Gong Rage". Several scenes are slightly weird and eerie, but not terrifying. Some plots are rich in Cult style, but not bloody.

The story in the film takes place in a dim city, empty and deep alleys, inexplicable steam, busy and indifferent people will fall asleep as soon as midnight... The

director will run a type of symbol throughout the film, from the mark on the victim To the experiment of the psychologist, from the detective's fingerprints to the coffee pattern, even if the truth comes to light at the end, it is also a re-emergence of such symbols. The symbolic techniques in many places in the film not only leave a deep impression on people, but also symbolize that both the protagonist and the audience will never get out of these symbols.

How a movie more than ten years ago remains attractive, like most suspense movies, every movie is a mystery.

Only the city at night, the strange murders, the suspects who are both good and evil, the detectives who want to talk but stop, and another group of mysterious men in black. Every role, every scene, every unexpected encounter is another mystery.

As mentioned earlier, I think of two movies, and another is "Alternative Dimensional Hacker" in 1999, also known as "Thirteen Stories" and "Thirteen Stairs." Both of these films contain plots of "one way to the dark", but it is hard to say which one has the more shocking answer. I personally prefer "Alternative Hackers" because there is no end there.

If you have to remember the third movie, it should be "The World of Trumen."

Finally, I still have to mention the translation of the movie's name. "Dark City" has been translated into "Moving Soul City", giving people the feeling of a ghost movie. "Stay" has been translated into "Life and Death", is it the same as "Moving Soul City" is suspected of spoilers. "The Thirteenth Floor" has been translated into "Different Dimensional Hackers". Does this and "Cube" translated into "Different Dimensional Killing Array" resemble the relationship between "Total Mobilization" and "Ghosts" series.

My friend drove me out of the community to go to a seafood barbecue that tasted good. At the intersection, we had another disagreement. It turned out that although I do not distinguish between north, south, east and west, I still have a certain sense of direction. I don't know if this is good or bad.

The classic sci-fi movie that I wanted to watch when I was a kid... Now I have distracted thoughts, and I don’t feel better after thinking too much.

Dark City quotes

  • Mr. Hand: But I wanted to know what it was like... how you feel.

John Murdoch: You know how I was supposed to feel. That person isn't me... never was. You wanted to know what it was about us that made us human. Well, you're not going to find it...

    [Murdoch points at his head]

John Murdoch: ...in here. You were looking in the wrong place.

  • [after overhearing a phone call between Emma and Karl]

Mr. Hand: Karl. Uncle Karl. Haven't seen you in so long. Yes.
