Later, I was shocked many times. The composition and in-mirror scheduling were too mature and did not look like the work of a 33-year-old. Eastern Europeans seem to naturally know how to fiddle with cameras, and they are more creative than Italians.
The absurdity is just right for me, and the character of George is amazing. This drama is neither thrilling nor suspenseful, it is Antonioni's dark humor version, you can't see the traces of modern society, but you can feel the anxiety of that modern society.
Polanski is a genius.
