I watched this movie when I was a child, and I didn't feel anything. I didn't feel much about martial arts movies. Later, I gradually liked it. Chen Zhen's actions are really neat, and a woman like Photon makes people yearn, but what really moved me was Mr. Funakoshi's line.
"Young man, let me tell you, the best way to knock down an opponent is to use a pistol. The purpose of practicing martial arts is to push a person's physical strength to the highest limit. If you want to reach this level, you must understand the universe."
This In fact, the sentence is not limited to martial arts. In my opinion, for anything, when you pursue the ultimate, you have the possibility to glimpse the essence of the universe. Only when you know this, you will not go beyond for the sake of transcendence, and you will lose yourself. I think that's the really weighty highlight of the movie.
