Under the cobalt blue sky, a journey of color blocks~

If you arbitrarily cut out the pictures of "Three Hundred Spartans", you should get a series of colorful oil paintings. Similarly, "Sin City" is a set of black and white photos of lust and killing. And "Red Balloon", without the overly heroic and pretentious deepness of the first two, is just a stack of meaningful European-style postcards - the cold blue-gray street indulges in the hazy water traces flowing between the stone cracks, the black iron The street lamps of the brackets stand silently and gracefully at the corner of the long street, while the last touch of sunset gold remains on the small clouds in the sky.

This is a picture that dyes the old with memories, where delicacy and decadence are intertwined, rigor and indulgence are blended. The lightly blond child in the postcard took the only bright color, and at that moment, the bright red also took the eyes of everyone off the screen.

This is how the whole film started. The light and shadow in the frame are treated like a postcard, and the changing melodious melody runs through it, telling us a moving story that is both witty and sentimental.

Just like the opening scenes, most of the time the film's tone is ultramarine blue stained with a little silver and gray, with only a plump red, like a drop of oil suspended in the dim water. Just like the little girl in red in "Schindler's List", the appearance of the balloon seems to be God's fingers wiping away the dark air, revealing the innocence and emotion of life.

The boy held a red balloon, and the snow-white thread was held in the palm of his hand, proudly holding a promise. He ran down the alley with the balloon aloft, his shoes clattering on the damp flagstone. When it rained, he borrowed an umbrella from passers-by and carefully folded the balloon under the umbrella to avoid water droplets. He was chasing the train's white steam on the bridge, watching with excitement as the balloons were surrounded by clouds of air... He carried his balloon as if unaware that it was any different from a docile puppy. It was not until the balloon was released by the mother from the balcony, and the wobbly red screen stopped in front of the glass door, that the audience realized that it was their fault: the balloon was originally a puppy with a wagging tail.

The balloon followed the boy to class and followed the boy home. The balloon saw himself in the mirror. The balloon fell in love with a blue beautiful fellow. The film is so naturally weaving a fairy tale, but people who doubt it are not interested. So why not tacitly have such a bizarre dream, in which there is a well-behaved and naughty balloon.

But the tight drum beats and high pitches heralded the shattering of the dream. It seems that in every movie related to youth, there is such a group of urchins. Age draws a gap, they belong to different worlds from adults, and their respective kings will decide the distribution of privileges and obligations. So their laughter is wild and sharp, and they complacently make mistakes and even do evil, and adults can't blame them. These urchins disrupted the chorus in "Spring in the Cattle Class," used magnifying glasses to burn ants to death in "Beautiful Tales of Sicily," and whistled to mock all pure love in "American Pie." Younger, these urchins killed a red balloon.

They tugged at the balloon, and the piercing red turned to a drop of blood when the spindle pierced a fingertip. The dream is for the dream to die, the dream is for the dream to break. When the balloon struggled with the last ounce of strength but was mercilessly stepped on, I saw the back of a dream fade away.

If the director is cruel enough, he should let the ruthless ending song sound after this frame, and let the indigo bottom be covered with pale words, and engraved the name of the concocted dream. But he never did. The shots are switched one by one, showing not THE END, but the moment when the colorful balloons are released.

Originally, looking up at the sky was like looking up from the bottom of a fish tank, only to see tangled water plants, but at this time the grim sky suddenly became brighter. Countless colorful balloons gathered in one place, and they rolled over the city in groups, as if the bright color blocks in the drawing board were going on a vast journey. The scene where the children are lifted up into the sky by the balloon at the end is similar to the bridge section of the bicycle in "ET".

If I had a ticket, I would invite all brave dreamers to travel with me. We filled up the swaying slow-speed train, the wind, snow and sunshine passed by the window, the yellow of lemon and the purple of lavender, the red of cherry and the green of banana leaf, and the slightly sweet song all the way. Finally, don't forget, reach out the window and try your luck, maybe you can tame a balloon like the little prince who tamed a fox.
