Without reading other reviews carefully, it is inconvenient to draw a "good" or "bad" conclusion. After watching the video in the early 2 hours in 3 episodes, I am still very tired. A neurotic, almost insane heroine and a fairly familiar hero (who is basically going for him when watching this film) have been dealing with each other; a case of manslaughter after a carjacking and a long-standing racial antagonisms. It's this movie.
to protect women and children? Is it to dismantle stereotypes that are implicitly racist against the black community?
Is the title freedomland an irony to the United States, a land founded on the ideal of freedom?
Unfortunately, I can't find the answer to any of these questions. I believe the author is trying to convey a certain idea to the audience, but in my case he failed completely.
