"Hannah"

The artistic conception that the film hopes to create includes superb photography, soundtrack, and editing that I like, but the inconsistency caused by the choice of the script makes the main line of the story, which is not particularly refined in itself, become boring.

Joe White's change is still a success, but he is drifting away in a contradiction between whether he should completely subvert the extreme performance or make it easy for the audience to accept.

It's a pity that the film has the conditions to excel.

Hanna quotes

  • Rachel: I feel so grounded in the countryside. The city stifles me, emotionally, creatively, spiritually. Places like this bring us closer to God.

    Hanna: God?

Rachel: Well, not in any monotheistic sense. Buddha, Krishna, the god within. Whatever you believe in.

    [pause]

Rachel: What do you believe in, Hanna?

    [gets no response, laughs]

    Rachel: Nothing.

  • Hanna: Come and find me.
