if love

He said, she was so altered, that he thought he should have not known her again...

He said, a strong mind with sweetness of manner, that was the woman he wanted.

He said, he had loved none but her, her , Miss Anne Elliot, and he offered himself to her with a heart even more her own than when she had almost broken it, eight years and a half before.

Busy week, Yesterday was also black as usual. In the middle of the night, I suddenly thought about it very much, and watched the 2007 TV series: Persuasion.

I accidentally learned that there is such a new persuasion. In me, it seems that the hope that has been abandoned for a long time has been hidden again. I am a little scared, but I still want to approach. I don't know if I'm a special case, but I generally don't like the Austin skits that Westerners love. For example, they thought that Keira Knightley, who was Elizabeth's incarnation, was relatively immune to me, and even when I saw her frowning, I couldn't help laughing. Is it possible that Eliza, who only roars and smiles nympho? And being persuaded by the 95BBC version that they regarded as a classic, I threw the DVD away after watching it once. I really can't stand such ugly Wentworth and Ann.

So far, I think the most Austen-like short play is Ang Lee's reason and emotion. Regardless of the time limit, a TV series that is faithful to the original book and thus generally not out of shape, it is best to be no more than the Pride and Prejudice of the 95BBC version. It's good, of course, thanks to the excellent male protagonist, but it's basically because of the ample time, without compressing the hard work of the screenwriter, letting Jane Austen tell the story herself, which is naturally very good. I'm afraid, the new director and screenwriter thinks they are arrogant and screwed up the clearly compact language, but instead they leave a large paragraph of empty drama. I don't know why, shortlisted for the Academy Award, Keira Knightley's version of Pride and Prejudice, Such an extreme example. Therefore, I have always personally recognized the moderate Ang Lee, who clearly read Austin seriously.

Aside from the appearance of the hero and heroine, the 2007 version of persuasion has some calm storytelling elements. As a result, more than once, I was heartbroken, just like when I read the original book, I chewed the tender sorrow in the sunny sunshine of early summer. Reunited after a long absence, goodbye to the old lover, time has passed, as if everything has been scattered, and what remains, faintly fermented and tormented. I don't know why I can't forget this subject matter, this story, and even the importance I attach to it is no less than arrogance and prejudice. Ann and Wentworth saw each other for the first time, and the balance was smooth, but she was already tense to the limit, and finally sighed quietly and melancholy. I also sigh. After that, on every occasion when he was with me, I also accompanied Ann, unable to be at ease, full of twists and turns.

The mood of young people reading books has remained unchanged for many years, and when I reach the corresponding paragraph, my mood fluctuates along with it. Watching this film, I feel similar, so, in a sense, it's fulfilling my old dream: seeing Ann regain happiness.

However, the short play is still not rigorous enough, or I am still a critical Austin fan.

I can understand that the screenwriter, in order to save time, loaded the scene where Wentworth took Ann's little nephew off her back, helped her out and made a cold face. Conversation, and was informed that Ann had not only rejected his marriage proposal, but also rejected Louisa's brother. The alternate plot is that when Ann fell while crossing the single-plank bridge, Wentworth immediately came to help, but his face was gloomy and cold, and even a little disdainful and annoyed. Such substitution, the effect is equivalent, is almost very clever.

But later, the screenwriter of 2007, Jean Javier told Wentworth that Louisa and Benwick who had been injured hit it off, got married soon, and hugged Wentworth, congratulating him on his freedom and not having to play a role Wen's own unintended marriage. It's just about time to fight. Javier, who was once almost Benwick's brother-in-law, has been sympathetic to Benwick as his brother-in-law, comforting and caring for his sister's death and the unfinished engagement. In an instant, this young man didn't hold the pipa, Javier would be indifferent, instead he laughed, only raising his eyebrows for his friends to be happy, and completely ignoring the people who are in the flesh and blood of Huang Quan?

Furthermore, the screenwriter of 07 made Ann run around the city of Bath at the end of the play, chasing Wentworth. On the way, he met Mrs. Smith, an old friend from high school, who revealed to Ann the true face of Ann's other favorite, Mr. Liott. An immediately believed what Shi said, thanked him and continued to chase people. This is a great condensation of the original work, explaining the conspiracy's exposure in a few sentences, instead of strengthening the proof against each other like the characters who played several scenes in the original. If the original book is cumbersome, but Austin at least speaks logic, the screenwriter of 07 gave Ann a severe drop. She is such a kind and cautious person, she will not easily slander others, and it is absolutely impossible to blindly follow negative evaluations. She will at least ask, is it true? Why are you sure? Is this claim reliable? In the play, Ann has no time to make a reasonable judgment, and just follows Wentworth and saves their love without delay. So Mrs Smith was swept away like a fly, and my emotion suddenly changed tone.

But maybe I should be content. After all, two hundred years later, in the era when fast food was prevalent, I also had quiet and restless times to read Jane, and I also had such a rich figurine to repair and criticize harshly. This may be the way I have to accept that I love Jane Austen and Ann.
