Is there anything better than childhood

The experience of watching this movie is so special. One afternoon in August, I was bored at home surfing the Internet, and the TV was turned on. Suddenly, I was very upset by the noise of the children on the TV. I was about to turn off the TV, and when I walked in, I found that it was a movie channel. A foreign film with a very interesting title, Hope and Glory. I thought it was a heroic World War II film. But I looked at it and found that it was actually a childlike story that recorded the happy times of the London family in World War II, especially the protagonist Billy (child) in the war era, and later learned that the director of the film made it based on his childhood past. Although this film also filmed some scenes of suffering, people do not feel the existence of suffering at all, and some are just hopes and beliefs for the future. Just like the names of the father's four daughters in the movie: Grace, Hope, Charity, Faith. What I will never forget is the part where my grandfather asked Billy and Sue to catch fish; the part where the Poles left without permission to meet with his sister on the boat; and finally, the grandfather sent Billy to school with 10,000 dissatisfaction, and later learned that the school was bombed, billy Shout out thanks to Hitler for that part. The most profound photo stops are 1. Billy and Sue went to catch fish, the bomb dropped by the German fighter plane fell into the water and killed a lot of fish, and Billy stuck his head out of the water with a surprised expression 2. The Poles were killed by the army The military police took it away, the car started, and everyone waved to him to cheer up 3. Billy stole an apple and gave it to her sister, Sue hugged her brother, and the happy scene of the three siblings 4. Grandpa laughed happily when he learned that Billy could not go to school The expression of the

classic movie, the few years I have gained from the movie in the few years of moving.

Hope and Glory quotes

  • Faith: No word from Bruce, my pet?

    [Dawn shakes her head no]

Faith: All men are beasts, darling.

Dawn: That's what I like about them.

  • Grandfather George: All hens and no cocks. Too many women in our family. They're a different species from us, Bill.

Bill Rowen: Don't you love them?

Grandfather George: Oh, yes, love them. But don't try to understand them. That road leads to ruin.
