A secret armed organization that suppresses evil spirits, kicked off by the encounter of a little girl and an immortal man in a cellar --

this animation is actually rough, but the story is good, it feels like a good setting but not enough development is required. The opening animation is amazing!

I absolutely love Hellsing's OST, mostly by Yasushi Ishii. Goethe-style rock, with decadence and uninhibitedness, has a great feeling. Well suited to the deep, confident, graceful, brash Alucard's

charismatic main character adds a lot to the work.

Elusive, unfathomable, and always calm in every situation; Arkad, as Hellsing's secret weapon, would be disrespectful to call him a vampire along with other bloodthirsty creatures in general. He is noble and noble, and has his own set of principles. He also has a crazy and playful side. At this time, he is terrifying, and any pretentious enemy will taste what "fear" is in front of him. He is a creature deeper than human beings, he holds a higher definition than justice, and with contempt and pity, purges these tragic lost souls. The story about him has long been a legend in the world.

Intergral, decisive, responsible, strong, indifferent. As the leader of the Hellsing organization of royal knights, she only has absolute allegiance to the queen in her eyes. This is also her destiny to carry on the Helling family tradition and inherit her father's ambition. Therefore, she must close off her excess emotions. For her, only mission and loyalty are the most important. The only people who really know her are Walter, the old housekeeper of Hellsing, and his "servant" Alucard.

Our protagonist, Miss Celes Victoria, was rescued by Alucard before the end of human life, gaining eternal life and becoming Alucard's "servent"—a master-servant relationship bound by blood. Alucard was absolutely sublime to her; his sophistication, his intelligence, the delicate relationship between them was like a teacher-student. Following in the footsteps of Alucard, Celes gradually found answers from his own doubts.

A big main line in the story is the heroine Celes' insistence on "I'm still human" but at the same time there is an inner question of "Am I still human". In the early stage of the story, Celes was looking for his own position from the external changes to the conflicts in his heart. One thing that is certain is that Celes has never abandoned his "humanity".

What makes people interesting is the description of the relationship between master and servant. The relationship between several main characters in the story is based on the cognition of "Master" and "Servent". However, the masters and servants here are not always the traditional masters and servants. Some are bonded by blood, some are bonded by past, and some are bonded by nature, which are intertwined into subtle emotions that are difficult to define for human beings.

After the first fight with Father "Iscariot Paladin" Alexander Anderson of Section XIII, sent by the Vatican and temporarily knocking him back --

"How does it feel, Alucard?" Integral lit a cigar

"Oh, my head's ready Haven't been chopped down in a while." On the corridor, Alucard walked towards Integral.

"Why did you make that policewoman one of your kind?" Integral asked when Alucard strayed from her.

He didn't look back.

"Yeah, why? Loneliness, lust, short-lived pleasures? No, none of those things. Maybe spending so much time with you guys infected me."

"You mean sentimentality? No Life King..." Integral looked at the back of Alucard, who had walked away, and said to himself with a smile,

"No, it should be the man who was once called the 'Count'. "

Under the bright full moon, a black bat flutters its wings to the dark blue night...

Hellsing quotes

  • [repeated line]

Commander Peter Fargason: In the name of God, impure souls of the living dead shall be banished into eternal damnation. Amen.

  • Integra: You're too loud, Police Girl. I don't care if you're a vampire, you're still English. Have some manners.
