Ok fine, I've finished watching it, and I'm going to chase the second season. Come back for more reviews. Well, I came back to make up the film review: The girl as beautiful as a rose, I have seen it. Stunning face. The emperor and the queen are a good match, and the queen is also very tall. The emperor is naive and cruel, and the queen is naive and great. The first two episodes were unpleasant to watch, but the latter is still very happy. The film is a little yellow, basically every episode starts with a love and sex scene, which is more suitable for watching alone. To a certain extent, I like the emperor's lover and the emperor's petite wife. She is a smart person who judges the situation and can serve the emperor well (she seems to have subtle feelings for Peter), keenly aware of her husband's emotions, and friendly to the queen. The whole play can feel the changes of Catherine, from the beginning of sending branches to the emperor and longing for great love, to later integrating into Russia and planning for power in her own way. Even better, instead of an actor's virtuosity, I'm seeing sloppy emperors, naive queens, bishops who can talk shit, cowardly politicians, and drunken generals. From this point of view, the show is very successful. I was a little displeased at the beginning, because the "this drama is occasionally true" hinted at the beginning may not feel like a formal history; I was still convinced by the plot later, after all, this is a delicate work of art.
