"Love, Art and Free Will"

This film is actually a process of analyzing three objects with three frequencies from three perspectives:

1st place: Marie Curie Fortune

Marie Curie in history: (November 7, 1867 - July 4, 1934) physicist, scientist, chemist.

Mary is a representative of high-frequency people: high IQ, can almost achieve what she wants, but poor perception and no emotional ups and downs. In fact, this is also based on the character of Marie Curie, a physicist with high IQ in history.

Second place: Isaac Newton Midgley

Isaac Newton in history: (January 4, 1643 - March 31, 1727) physicist and mathematician.

Isaac (Zach for short in the film) is a representative of low-frequency people: low IQ, poor grades, and always one step slower than normal people in life, but they are super perceptive and can feel the feelings of mid-frequency and high-frequency people The atmosphere that is not reached is cloudy, and the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant. I don't know if the character of Newton is the same as Newton's own juvenile achievement, but he is very curious and believes that knowledge changes destiny. This film also mentions "knowledge changes destiny" many times.

Third place: Theodore Adona Strauss

Strauss in history: October 25, 1825 - June 3, 1899), was a famous Austrian composer, conductor, violinist and pianist.

Theodore is a representative of the mid-frequency crowd, with medium IQ and average grades, and his family is a musical family. My father was a musician and found a moment of freedom in music. Theo has taken on the family mission since he was a child, but in the mission planned by the family, he continued to use his friend "Zack" as the experimental object. His father kept a goldfish as a pet. When Theo said "say thank you" to Zack The moment also made Theo a pet.

The climax of the film actually begins in the last half hour, revolving around the control of "books" and the rescue of "music". "Book" should refer to the "Bible" from the perspective of various analysis. Many monarchs in Western history have tried to use the "Bible" to control people's hearts and extend their rights. And "music" (art) is the antidote to the human soul, which makes all rights and orders invalid. As for why Mozart was chosen, Theo's father has already explained after the film.

Mozart's magic flute, my father explained that the "magic flute" means calming down in ancient times. He still explained: Music has always been created by composers in order to get out of control. It's actually quite funny here, a series of advanced operations, and in the end, I actually want to say that the director of "art changes life" is a proper literary youth.

OXV: The love between Zack and Mary started with Theo's experiment. Actually, it's hard for me to explain why Zack likes Mary since he was a child. He fell in love with Mary at first sight. And Mary's love for him started from the side effects of special words, but in fact, everything was really changed after the physical contact between the two. When two people who love each other are combined, there will be a heartbeat frequency, and the natural balance will break the original rule. When they finally realized at the end of the film that all their choices were not theirs at all, their love really started to happen.

Let's talk about Theo's control experiment. Theo got the mystery from the "book". From the last dialogue with his father, he seemed to be a creator. He didn't believe his father's belief that music could save people. He does not believe in free will and individual choice. His purpose is to constantly improve his theories and formulas, deny the authority of knowledge and truth, and play his own cosmic symphony. But in the final scene, Mary and Zach still love each other after they know they've been manipulated, putting an end to his experiment.

There is no doubt that people have free thinking and creativity, and people will have freedom if they have choices. And love and art are and indeed are good medicines to free the soul from control.

Frequencies quotes

  • Teen Marie: Knowledge determines destiny.

  • Zak: If I'm right, it means that whatever gave us our minute wasn't love, it was fate. It means im just here to serve a purpose for you. It means everything is already decided. There's no freedom, no responsibility, and knowledge absolutely does not determine destiny.

    Marie: Does it matter?
