The film is based on a true story set in a Los Angeles high school dominated by the children of South American immigrants. Iskrate, who used to work in a computer company, came to the school to teach in order to fulfill his ambition. Because the school was short of funds and had no computers, he had to change to teach mathematics. He used his powerful teaching method to tame the rude students led by Philip, and helped them pass the skipping exam with high marks, but was unexpectedly suspected of being a group cheating. In order to clarify the misunderstanding, the students decided to retake the exam. The teachers and students cooperated seamlessly, and finally set a record for the number of qualified students, and also won the school's funds to buy computers.
