opera VS jazz, Reivew on The Talented Mr. Ripley

The role of Ripley was originally Julian of "Red and Black". His heart is higher than the sky and his life is thinner than paper. He lives in the basement and listens to opera. The charm of this kind of person is Napoleonic ambition. If you add that he is very smart, it will be even more extraordinary.
The dude is called dick, he is hedonistic, greedy for the Italian sun and the life of going to sea in summer and skiing in winter. The author wrote these two people as a sharp contrast. The continuous gorgeous opera and the lazy jazz in the film also contrast sharply.

Generally speaking, I don't like Matt playing Ripley, not opera. .
