julia defense battle - laughter is the easiest acting

In the whole movie, I think the only thing closest to Julia's true face is her housekeeper, Evie.
A born actor, in reality, every relationship and every role must be performed in the play. How much real emotion and how much is the talent of acting, it is estimated that it is difficult for her to distinguish herself.
As her teacher said: You are still the best actor because you know how to restrain yourself.
Good people need reason.
It's the same whether it's in play or in reality.
Laughter is the easiest kind of performance, with many rich expressions. In this play, julia laughed too much. It was either a refusal smile or a concealed smile. How much sincerity was there? Because laughing is much simpler than crying. When you can't cope with everything, at least there is a smile on your face. This is the only dignity.
When her dearest son told her all the truth, she just laughed, and then she was sobbing all by herself.
The end is a perfect revenge, she controls everything on stage like a queen, squandering her endless talents, the stage is where she really lives, only performance can give her everything...
She ends up eating alone in a restaurant , I can finally take off my mask and face myself, only to find that I have the world, but I am a complete emotional pauper, a poor bastard.
This is a typical film of the rising twins, able to integrate the performance into his own life, unable to distinguish between drama and reality.
I hope that I can be like julia too. When I can take laughter as the easiest performance one day, I can really become a decorative tear.

PS: This movie once again proves that most men are super idiots who are toyed by MS simple girls~

Being Julia quotes

  • [repeated line]

    Julia Lambert: T-O-M !

  • Julia Lambert: As a matter of fact, there is a play that interests me. It's about an older woman has an affair with a younger man.

    Lord Charles: Oh, a farce!

Julia Lambert: Why do you say that?

Lord Charles: Well, because everyone laughs at the older woman.
