It's probably the most impressive movie I've seen this year.

Plot overview

From the perspective of flashbacks, it tells the bizarre sci-fi story between a male savage, a long-haired girl, a male doctor, and a female assistant. The long-haired girl naturally grows like an orangutan. She loves nature and becomes a nature writer. She meets a male doctor by accident. They pick up a male savage in the wild, teach him human civilization, and domesticate him. Then the male doctor knew that the long-haired women turned out to be shaved, so he cheated with the female assistant. In the end, the long-haired girl snatched the male savage and returned to the wild life, but the male doctor couldn't forget the long-haired girl, so he went back to find the long-haired girl. He ended up being shot, and then the male savages and female assistants lived happily together.

Evaluate feelings

I haven't seen a movie with such a novel angle for many years. From beginning to end, it is constantly satirizing human civilization and human discrimination. Visually, it is the most impressive movie I have seen this year. The magical technique shows the morbidity and even perversion of the society. Kind of like a clockwork orange.

Human Nature quotes

  • Louise: I fall in love with a man - his mind, period.

    Lila Jute: There's a limit.

Louise: No, period. End of sentence. End of paragraph. Close the book, we're done. Give me a man with intellect... I could care less about the packaging. You don't fuck the packaging.

    Lila Jute: Yeah you do.

Louise: You fuck the mind, Lila, you fuck the mind. Period. Close the book, end the sentence, close the whatever.

  • Puff: [...] There is indeed a Paradise Lost. Human beings have become so enamored of their intellectual prowess that they forgot to look to the Earth as a teacher. This is hubris, my friends!
