Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or
to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them?
This is a question worthy of consideration; which of these two acts is nobler,
to endure the tyrannical arrows of fate in silence, or to stand up against the boundless sufferings of the world and sweep them away through struggle? The reason why I suddenly watch Hamlet is actually because there is a stage play called "Hanai Horse Fairy" in Hong Kong recently, and its evolution has a certain relationship with Hamlet, from the classic works of Hamlet to a set of post-modern works. Driven by curiosity, I watched this work, and what I wanted to see was the magic power of The Prince's Revenge. The story tells that Hamlet's father (the king of Denmark) was killed by his brother, and Hamlet met his father's ghost one day and learned how his father died, so at the same time his uncle married his mother. What can be seen is the rupture of a home, and the ambition can be seen. It is impossible to say that Hamlet was stunned by revenge, and he was shrewd, but he was not. In fact, he was just a small person like us, and he had no great wisdom. In the end, he was poisoned and could not escape. Just as he said after the above speech that people always die, his feeling for his mother was that she was a weak person at first (a woman is weak), and in the end, her mother died for him. I forgive my mother who remarried, but I can't forgive the enemy who killed my father. Just like in saw 3, whether we will choose to take revenge or forgive someone, in the saw series of movies I feel the most inspiration for these. How do we look at revenge, hate a person? Is there really a need to do this? You will have your answer, after all I think Hamlet did the right thing, and if it were me, I would probably do it.
It was the first time I watched the original Shakespeare script. To be honest, I wasn't very interested in ancient films, but because of how impressive Shakespeare's lines were, it turned out that it was our life. Just like the most famous sentence "To be or not to be, that's a question", standing on the intersection of life, you must think clearly about every step you take, and you will find your own happiness when you are in the current position.
Hope to have the opportunity to see Hamlet on stage in Hong Kong in the future. Although my English is really average, I really want to see the live version of Hamlet.
