This egg seems to be seamless-a flaw of a flaw

Not much to say, go directly to the topic, discuss the plot, enter it carefully, and don't hide it.

When we watched the movie, we could know that Hopkins changed the gun at the beginning, and this was seen by Gosling, so Gosling blatantly entered into the house of Huoye and committed his crime. The process was explained again, Huo Ye admitted, then went to court stupidly, and the play ended.

There is a question here, that is, if Huo Ye never admits, what can the court do? We know that he changed the gun, but we can't prove that he changed the gun.

First, there must be no fingerprints on the gun, because Huo Ye held the gun with a handkerchief and then changed it. Second, if it was like the first court, everyone knew that he could only commit the crime. Logically speaking, Huo Ma could not. After shooting himself in the head, he dragged himself to another room, so the director used common sense to say that it was only possible that Huoye committed the crime and then caught Huoye and shot him to death. But he couldn’t find the murder weapon. Turning this case into an impossible crime, and finally getting away with justice for an hour, then everyone knows that the evidence is really important. Finally, after Gosling dismantled this clever gun-changing technique, he found evidence of the criminal method, but he could not find evidence that the prisoner was Huo Ye. Based on the above two points, if Lord Huo refuses to admit it, even if the probability of his crime changes from 98% to 99%, this case will still become an unsolved case like the first time.

Another possibility is that Gosling took a lot of police officers outside at the end. When they confronted, the police could hear their conversation completely, so the police could serve as a witness, and finally arrest him. But first, the police may not necessarily I can hear it, and the next thing is whether they can be recognized legally after they are witnesses. If they can be recognized, then at the beginning, call a bunch of policemen to say that Huo Ye happily admitted it, can't it be enough? Please explain to students who study law. I am not sure.

Later we discovered that the flaw has three endings, but now we only talk about the second ending, because the second ending and the third ending are similar.

The second ending can solve the first point mentioned above. When Gosling finally broke into Huojiazhuang, he said that Huo Ye took the police gun and used four bullets, one for killing, three for arbitrarily firing, and finally he had to use it. His own bullet was loaded, and then fingerprints would be left on the bullet, but Huo Ye might think that the classmate who gave him the green hat would eventually finish the bullet, so he didn’t wipe off the fingerprints. It’s a pity that the policeman committed suicide with a bone. Only one was used, so the fingerprints left on the remaining three can be used as evidence to prove Huo Ye’s guilt.

First, how careful people like Huo Ye leave fingerprints on bullets like this? What if he committed the crime with gloves? So isn't this a perfect crime? Such a big game, there is no flaw that is absolutely irreversible, and it is very untenable to rely on Huo Ye's carelessness to overthrow it.

Secondly, Huo was still shooting randomly in the house. One thing I don’t understand here is why Huo was so boring to shoot randomly. I don’t know if there are any substantial criminal considerations here, but I don’t know what I think. I don't think this is necessary. If I didn't shoot indiscriminately, I believe the story would still follow the original path.

Third, Gosling finally accused Huo Ye of murder. Did he shoot his wife, or did he unplug his wife’s oxygen cylinder? If it is the previous case, because her wife was not dead at the time, she still has to be considered as an attempted murder. According to the first trial, even if all the above unclear problems are resolved, Huo Ye can still travel according to the original plan. However, if it is said that he unplugged the oxygen cylinder, legally speaking, he has this right, so it is not a crime.

The third point is that there is a possibility that we first prove that Huo Ye shot his wife, and then we deny his legal right to pull out the oxygen cylinder. Both of them are considered crimes. Together they can form a murder. If the law is If you are willing to admit it.

So I think that the ending should be set to: Although Gosling understood Huo's criminal tactics, he couldn't prove it, and Huo also appreciated his talent, and the two of them went on a trip together in the end.

End of the play.

Fracture quotes

  • Judge Pincus: Mr Beachum. Nice to see a man who dresses for court.

Willy Beachum: I'm very sorry, Your Honour. Very sorry. It's a long story.

Judge Pincus: The people of the State of California versus Theodore Crawford.

Public Defender: Your Honour, the public defender is representing Mr Crawford for his arraignment with the understanding that he will secure private counsel for all further proceedings.

Judge Pincus: Mr Crawford, you have been charged with section 664 slash 187 of the California penal code: Attempted murder. Do you waive further eading of the complaint and complete statement of rights?

    Public Defender: You do.

Ted Crawford: I do. But, l... I want...

Judge Pincus: And do you wish to enter a plea at this time?

Ted Crawford: Yes, not guilty. But I also want to waive my right to counsel and to represent myself.

Judge Pincus: Surely you won't have trouble finding an attorney, Mr Crawford?

Ted Crawford: No, but I want to do it myself.

Public Defender: Your Honour, if I can have a moment with my client.

Ted Crawford: I'm not your client. Try and keep up, will you?

Judge Pincus: Uh, Mr Crawford, you're facing some very serious charges here. I strongly urge you to retain counsel.

Ted Crawford: That's very kind but I believe I'm within my rights.

Judge Pincus: Be aware that lack of counsel will not be grounds for an appeal.

Ted Crawford: Oh, I understand. I understand.

Judge Pincus: People have an objection, Mr Beachum?

Willy Beachum: Well, Your Honour, we have a verbal and signed confession. So, I would strongly advise Mr Crawford to get a competent attorney to try and negotiate a plea.

Judge Pincus: That's pretty damning evidence, Mr Crawford. You wanna reconsider?

    Ted Crawford: Absolutely not.

Willy Beachum: Huh. It's gonna turn into a circus.

Judge Pincus: I appreciate your concern for the dignity of the court, 007. Unfortunately, the man is a tax-paying citizen and entitled by our constitution to try and manipulate the legal system like everybody else.

Willy Beachum: Mr Crawford wants to go pro per, that's gonna take a while, and sadly, I won't be here for it. But the People have no objection.

  • Ted Crawford: Nicely done, Willy. Truly. A regular chain of evidence. Great stuff. Vivid. Heartbreaking. The victim cries out from beyond the grave. Yeah. Jurors love all that sort of crap, don't they? I bet you don't even need a confession anymore, do you, Willy? I tell you what, though, old sport. Let's make you a new one just in case. The real deal, all the juicy details. You can get your rocks off on that, then, can't you? Huh? I shot my wife in the face, right there. She didn't look so pretty after that. And l stood there looking down at her... and l watched her eyes go all empty. I could smell the blood and the shit. Smelled like metal. And the look on his face! He was trying to get her back to life and l was pissing myself laughing... because I took both the bastards out with one fucking bullet. Yeah. And now you've got your little bullet, haven't you? Got what you want. So bring it all on, kiddo. Bring it all into court. Except you can't, can you? Let's see, now, first year law, double jeopardy. I went to trial, you lost. Oh, pity about that. It doesn't matter what you do now. It doesn't matter what you know. I mean, she could come back from the dead, you see... and testify, spill the beans, and it would mean... nothing. So you can't touch me... ever.
