At first I wanted to watch this movie, partly because of Cate Blanchett, and partly because of my admiration for the profession of being a journalist since I was a child. I once wanted to learn journalism, but then I gave up because of my love for mathematics.
The beginning of the film made me like it immediately. This reporter, unfettered, free, and free, but immediately revealed the cruelest ending
Veronica sometimes feels like a simple child, confronting drug lords and questioning her face to face, but this is what she believes in. It is her duty to believe that more people can be paid attention to through the reporter's reports,
but she really made those people's thoughts simple, and those verbal threats finally turned into reality. The clear childish voice of a little boy is interspersed with the pictures of different people hearing the news of her death. There is only grief.
Every Irishman will remember where they were when they heard that Veronica Guerin was murdered. She paid the price with her life, but she can at least change. back to some social awakening

  • Veronica Guerin: You'd do the same. If you saw those kids on the street, you would do the same.

  • Veronica Guerin: It'll be worse for me, and it'll be worse for journalism or any journalist if I was to be intimidated. Then that means they've won, and they're not going to win.
