A little pity...

Love v girl's afterthought

In fact, 4 stars is a bit too much, about 3.5 stars. It is a relaxed and warm romantic comedy and children's drama, but there are flaws in the logic of the plot. It is a pity that the realistic meaning behind this dramatic conflict theme can be excavated.

At the beginning, the director should have a certain desire to express, and more delicately portray some real problems, such as: the desire of a boy who lost his mother at a young age for maternal love, the mentality of adolescent boys and girls who are curious about the body of the opposite sex and intercourse with the opposite sex, conservative and even corrupt in small towns The atmosphere of the movie, the gold and jade in the big city, and the chaos in it... But in the later stage, not only many plot settings are broken and the role is single, but many questions are not answered, and there are serious problems in the rhythm control, which lasted for nearly two hours. The only conflict in the film broke out in the last 2-30 minutes.

What makes people particularly regrettable is that the director finally lost his ambition to sublimate the idea, or the point of entry was wrong, and he did not have enough knowledge to speak slowly. For the heroine V, the director has been portraying it from the perspective of sympathy and pity, but it also makes the image of V less plump and loses the realistic meaning of the film. How did v change from eve to v who solicits business from gangsters? v Are there any sinks or struggles in this life? Including v's emotional movement in getting along with the children and tom is not clear enough, so the reunion at the end loses the possibility of convincing the audience: we don't know enough about v's personality, the opportunity for her to stay (and tom) Is the budding love, the pure friendship with the children, and the chase) strong enough to withstand the gossip of the small city, the complicated relationships (one of the three children has a father who has served)? Therefore, the V girl portrayed in a face-masking way has shaken the foothold of this romantic light comedy. If the audience itself cannot believe that the main character's future life will be warm and beautiful, then this film is also doomed to fail.

But in short, the protagonist's acting skills are very online, and there is no problem with the film's framing, shooting techniques and other technical content. If you want to spend two hours with your family easily, this film can be a good choice.

Milk Money quotes

  • V: OK, pull your shirts up over your heads. Come on.

V: M'kay, you're not hairy enough to be dangerous

  • Frank Wheeler: [Frank has to gave a presentation on the female body/reproductive system to his class, so he uses V as a model] This is a woman. These are her breasts. They serve an important biological function in child-rearing as a both a food source and headrests. Size and shape of breasts may vary from person to person, but number is constant: one, two. Please?

[V unzips her denim shorts to reveal a flesh-colored leotard]

Frank Wheeler: [to the class] Who wants me to go on?

    [his classmates cheer]

Frank Wheeler: Now I didn't want to do this, but it's part of the assignment.

[begins drawing a rough female reproduction system on V's leotard]

Frank Wheeler: These are the ovaries. That's where the eggs are. Eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs. Each ovary is connected to its very own Fallopian tube, which swings, which swings down sort of like this, like a little freeway. Leading to the uterus, about this size baby motel. Just roughly here.

V: [chuckles as he draws on her]

    Frank Wheeler: What?

    V: It tickles.

    Frank Wheeler: Oh, sorry.
