"Antoine" series under the lens of French director François Truffaut , from "Les quatre cents coups", "Love at Twenty" L'amour a vingt ans , Baisers voles of "Stolen Kiss", Domicile conjugal of "Marriage Life" to the last "Love Run" L'amour en fuite, let us see the growth process of "Antoine". From a 13-year-old ignorant teenager, to experiencing all aspects of life such as growth, love, breakup, and reunion. A real "Antoine" is presented. Growing up in the ups and downs of life, and growing up in the ins and outs of love. And "Antoine" actor Jean-Pierre Léaud (Jean-Pierre Léaud) has been playing "Antoine" in these "Antoine" series of films. From truancy, running to the sea and being at a loss, to the small quarrels in marriage life, he will always be a "juvenile who doesn't know the taste of sorrow" and doesn't care.
Day to Night (La nuit americaine) is also the work of Francois Truffaut, which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 1974. And the really cute, slightly reckless "Antoine" returned to play Alphonse in this film, with a similar hairstyle, a suit, tie and trousers, always dressed as a literary youth. If he wants to keep his girlfriend by his side, he simply says "you are mine"; when his girlfriend runs away, he can't take the blow and doesn't want to make a movie, so he says childishly, "borrow me some money to go to a prostitute." People can't help but laugh when they see it.
Interestingly, director François Truffaut himself played a role in the film - a director. And the character, along with the former "Antoine" (Alphonse in the film), returned to the film, appearing in the film it was made for. This arrangement is admirable!
