The number of words in the short review is too high, and it is transferred to the film review.
The structure and setting of this movie are quite interesting. The war robot SAR, which has the ability to learn independently, was put into trial use on the battlefield. Because the human beings who were facing each other gradually failed to learn things and could not upgrade, they even hacked into the military system and dispatched themselves to be famous for their super combat effectiveness. The Navy SEALs went into the battlefield for their own learning, which in itself just catered to the fears and doubts of some people in the society at that time about AI. If the filming is textured, there is every chance to arouse the audience's reflection on AI technology, no matter how bad it is. Show the occupation of human employment space by modern technology.
But the director may not quite understand how to show the battle scene. Originally, on the battlefield, the SAR, the SEALs and the heroine should be pulling each other, but all the SEALs inside are naive, and the characters have not been shaped. The captain basically had no command, and there was no tactics and cooperation between teammates. The whole team seemed to run around like flies without heads, and was beaten by SAR in the head. The opponent is so weak, it can't bring out the terrifying side of SAR at all.
In addition, although the female protagonist has a chip implanted in her body, her brain is still a human brain. How can the dialogue with her teammates be more idiotic than AI? If you are a little confused, you think that the female protagonist's brain has also been removed and replaced with a chip. People are embarrassed to the point of suffocation, you must know that Siri still knows how to play tricks.
The above problems lead to a poor look and feel of the whole film, the plot is scattered, the plot is not paved, and the highlight moments are less moving and bloody, so that after the big boss is solved, the perception is "this is it??". It can be seen from some plots that the director has a layout and ingenuity. If he polishes it carefully, this will be a good sci-fi movie. Unfortunately, this film did not make it in the end, which is really regrettable.
