This is my latest "doing nothing to watch drama". I think the portrayal of Chinese Americans in the play is very good. Eddie, who has just entered school, is embarrassed that he can't fit in; Mr. Huang, who was struggling with how to show the image of Asians in the TV show he attended; and the description of Huang's mother's character in the play.
And the life of a family, because of their arrival, other people's attitudes towards Asians have changed, and I think the best part of this show is to describe the cultural conflict and people's attitudes to it: not belittle, not lift, but respect . Including the plots where Eddie was called a parent at the beginning, and his mother "forgot his roots", I don't think there are plots that insult the character of the Chinese, but this is a good way to deal with what may happen in reality.
