In the name of God?

If priests are like ordinary people, from material life to spiritual life, they are bound by many desires such as power, money, beauty and so on?

The story takes place in Mexico.

Father Amaro looked like a young child, smiling heartlessly. He came to this town to assist Father Benito. The priests in this parish have their own secrets. Father Benito had an affair with the restaurant owner, had an affair with the gangster, and received the black money from drug trafficking, which was then used to build a building in the center of the town. A hospital that includes a nursing home and an orphanage. Another priest in the mountains was suspected of secretly helping the guerrillas.

Amelia is a devout believer and teaches children at church. This girl with lovely flaxen hair fell in love at first sight for Amaro, the son of God who was equally pious, and she had a feverish lust.

Because of a planned incident, the photo of Godfather Benito's connection with the gang was exposed by the media. The young Amaro was sent by the bishop to deal with this matter. He neatly maintained the authority and inviolability of the church, even if It was a lie to protect the sanctity in his heart. He had only one thought in his heart, dedicating his life to the Lord.

The two young people finally crossed the line. The location and excuse for the rendezvous were all found by Amaro. There was no unease or embarrassment. He arranged everything in an upright manner. The two rained down on the Virgin Mary's holy garment, and Father Amaro praised Amelia's body with words from the Bible.

The poor girl was pregnant, and she naively thought that Father Aloma would take off his holy robe and marry her. For Father Aroma, this was against his will. What he wanted was to teach people. He regarded this as a "vocation". For the first time, Amelia looked at the Son of God with strange eyes.

Father Aloma chased away the church secretary who had inadvertently leaked the secret. He didn't care about the secretary's seriously ill daughter. He just turned his back to him, waved his hand, and said, "Go out," without even looking directly at him.

The priest offered to find a place to give birth to the child and then give it away. He told Amelia not to ruin his pastoral career, and she should have known the consequences from the start. Did Amelia understand by this time that the so-called "spiritual and physical love are one" in the priest's mouth?

Father Aloma decides to take Amelia for an abortion, in an illegal clinic. Amelia is still dead, from bleeding from an abortion.

In the small town, this is how it was described, "Amelia's ex-pagan boyfriend got her pregnant and abandoned her, poor Amelia had nowhere to go, chose an abortion, and was bleeding profusely. Under the dangerous situation, the holy priest arrived and tried to send Amelia to a regular hospital for rescue."

Amelia's funeral was presided over by Father Aloma. He still looked so holy and solemn, inviolable, the Son of God in holy robes, leading the people to "repent" and praying for God's forgiveness. Only Godfather Bentoni stepped back in a wheelchair, and the camera moved backwards, away from here. Melodious choir as always.

In the film, in the name of religion, power and resistance, politics and conspiracy, money and transactions, the violence and ferocity of believers against infidels, people are not equal. Where in Aroma, when did this all become normal and acceptable? When did Amelia's blood-stained hands wash clean?

Buddha said, you are your own master.

I just watched this week's show, and I watched those people open their eyes and talk nonsense. I thought to myself, when did the big lie start to be so grandiose?
