For a hundred years of light and shadow, there are so few writers and screenwriters, and naturally there are also many movies describing writers and screenwriters.
"Sunset Boulevard" is a masterpiece, and "Life with a Glass of Wine" (2004) and "Goddess of the Sixth Sense" (1999) in recent years are such movies. It's just that "Life with a Glass of Wine" has more somber tones.
"The Goddess of the Sixth Sense" is a bizarre and exaggerated work. It uses wine as a metaphor for the long taste of life, and uses the goddess "Muse" as the incarnation to supply oxygen to the hungry creator. Although it is absurd, it makes people laugh. . Coupled with the wonderful performance of Sharon Stone, coupled with the infinite style of supermodel Andie McDowell, as well as the visit of the great directors Cameron and Scorsese, it was a success and a matter of course. It is a joyous work indeed.
On the contrary, "Life with a Cup of Wine" is too plain and unremarkable. Although it won seven awards for the best film at the 62nd Golden Globe Awards, it is really nothing new. "Writer-themed" movies do not have extraordinary creativity, and most directors may not dare to touch this theme.
Although Feng Xiaogang has filmed "Sigh of Life", in which the writer starring Zhang Guoli was devastated by an extramarital affair, it can only be regarded as a mediocre work, and the ending is still buried in the traditional "reality", without the slightest turbulence. . "Mobile Phone" took the lead, Zhang Guoli said "aesthetic fatigue", which swept the mansion and grabbed the infinite scenery. Because of its novelty and fun, although the "New Year" was cold and windy, it could still fly high.

The famous director Peter Weir's "Green Card Love" (1990) has always been one of my favorites over the years.
The first time I saw it was in 1992 at the "9.30" on Pearl Terrace in Hong Kong. Its bright rhythm, smooth and vivid narrative style, and subtle and interesting lines are the reasons why I remember it. In addition, the charming style of the female model Andie McDowell and the exaggerated and funny French nose Depardieu are all surprising and enjoyable.
A couple of supporting characters are also impressive, the nosy rickety old lady and the skunk-smelling investigator, all hilarious. In the face of "girlfriend" friends, the part of playing the piano with a big nose was a surprise, and it turned out to be brilliant. It really felt like "infinite scenery is on the dangerous peak", and I took "Africa" travel photos in front of tropical plants.
In short, the details in the film all make the film shine, a plain and intriguing film of joy. In recent years, comedy movies have been lackluster, and even less literary and hilarious movies such as "Green Card Love". The decline of creativity, human beings are bound by their own cages, and their thinking is becoming more and more rigid. A pity.
