Old age is not for the faint of heart.
Some people are young, but deep down. Some people grow old, but they keep moving forward; it is definitely not just our age that truly measures us. I kept thinking about "Darren Brown: Challenging the Impossible Art Theft" when I watched it. People's fixed thinking is that people should stay calm when they are old. The best years have passed, so stop making trouble, so pour Extinguish one flame after another trying to struggle. But who prescribes these rigid thinking? In life, there are always people who say to you: "Don't buy that clothes that don't look good", "You are too fat, eat less", "When are you getting married?", "When are you going to have children?"... When do we need to see other people's eyes to live? No one stipulates what to do when, no one stipulates that liking some so-called "useless" things is a waste of time, no one stipulates that you are a loser if you don't study well, and no one stipulates that you can't challenge life when you are old. What does it matter what others say and think? Who is still in control of our lives, ourselves or someone else's?
These veteran actors have several familiar faces. Michael Gambon, who plays Cedric, is also Principal Dumbledore, who plays Harry Potter. He looks familiar when he sees him in a nightgown. So; Maggie Smith, who plays Jane, is also Professor McGee, who plays "Harry Potter". After checking it out, she found out that she is also the hotel owner of the 82 version of "Evil in the Sun". The change is really big, and I really don't recognize it. I was really pleasantly surprised. I didn't expect to see so many familiar characters. They accompany us to grow up and grow old.
Favorite characters are Sissy and Wells. I like Wells' serious jokes, I think I'm like that when I'm old; it's really sad to see Sissy, I don't want her to forget her friends, but people just don't know it As we get older, the people who are with us are also leaving us unknowingly. In fact, their quartet is really envious of the relationship between the four of them, the best friend of the young to the old; I thought the first half of the love between Reggie and Jane was "la la Land". Later, I found out that it was a youth idol drama, and they actually liked each other. But misunderstood to break up, a bit that taste.
The film opens with "Libiamo ne'lieti calici", each elderly person shows a part of the scene, Wells and the grandfather playing the flute contracted the laughs. This group of people really love music, and I also want to live in such a nursing home when I get old. "Love never cools down", although the years have left nicks on their faces, it has not stopped them from their love and pursuit of life. It was really moving when a group of people sang in a room. I always remember Reggie talking about the difference between vocals and rap, but there's really no difference between them. It was nothing more than a wound on the back, one was talking and the other was singing. Although he likes vocal music, he does not regard another form of music as heretical.
(Ps: The violin "go tell aunt rhody" played by two little girls, I always thought it was a song made by Biochemical 7, so I was so brainwashed. It turned out to be a reference. I was really surprised when I heard it?)
