Friends who are familiar with DC animation should know director Sam Liu very well. Many of his works at that time, such as "Batman Year One", "Batman and Superman Public Enemy", "Justice League Crisis on Two Earths" and "Justice League War of Gods and Demons" are very classic.
But the last few Sam Liu works can be said to have ruined many classic comics. First, the first half of the story was forcibly added to "The Deadly Joke". As soon as Suicide Squad Severe Punishment came out, I thought that Sam Liu was back. The ironic ending takes the story of Suicide Squad to new heights. Hearing that he is going to direct "Red Son" is still a little bit looking forward to.
The result is that the classic "Red Son" is not compressed farts. There is no reflection in the original work, and the United States has become an existence standing on the highest point of morality. Hong Zichao is outrageous to be hacked. Even Red Son's Batman is extremely dissatisfying. There is no classic twist at the end. I don't quite understand how DCAM got to this point.
What happened to Sam Liu recently, the more classic works are adapted, the more shit. On the contrary, the original story can still be shot well. Why do you have to cut out the story and forcibly make changes to the original. You can shoot a two-hour high-definition re-enactment of "Red Son" and it will get rave reviews. A good hand is so sloppy that Sam Liu better play less DC classics in the future.
