Why do some people say that the plot of this movie is simple and the latter part is not exciting? I don’t think it is.

1 Why is there such a building? I
feel that such a tall building should not be far from the city center. It is incredible that it has become a legal outdoor Taoyuan.
There has always been an explanation in this plot, and the building manager bought the upper floor. And finally the eldest brother said to the brothers: if this building is closed, they will find another place.
2Why not blow up the building
Since this building is so dangerous, can it be blown up?
The person buying the medicine holds the key to the door, which shows that this building is not only home to criminals. In fact, this building is no different from an ordinary shanty town. Change the location to a slum, and the plot is also true. This is the reason why no troops will be sent to wipe out the building, or the building will be blown up directly.
3 Why not send reinforcements?
Everyone may know this. But the details are dangerous here, but not so dangerous as it is in the movie.
The deputy captain was questioned once, saying that the mastermind would never do such a charge. In fact, the deputy captain happened to be the mastermind who was exploited and framed. This is why he complained about the rookies in the team.

The plot of the movie is still okay, not very simple.

4 Why did the shootout start?
I feel that this film is illogical. It may be misguided by the synopsis. The protagonist team didn't fall into an ambush because the child accidentally found out.
There is an explanation in the plot, and the protagonist’s actions have already been notified to the building director. The building leader had already set up an ambush. On the contrary, it was the child who sounded the alarm, making the protagonist team mistakenly believe that they had been found, and when they became alert, they were not killed by the group.
The building director informed the residents to go to the sixth floor, and also explained that the ambush circle was above the sixth floor. The head of the building did not want to use his own power to head-on the sixth floor.
5 Why did the fight suddenly change
to a fight after the gas tank exploded, and the building manager made a damage assessment to make up for the repair costs of the two houses. This is also the reason for not using heavy weapons.
After the explosion, it has entered the stage of cleaning the battlefield. The protagonist was in a coma for a period of time, which was enough time for the boss's subordinates to transport the corpse to the opponent downstairs. Explain that the time is not short.
Moreover, the building manager still has some scruples, the matter has become a big deal, and more money is needed to buy it.
There is another detail in the movie. A man pretending to be injured attacked the guard on the fifth floor, and then reported that the fifth floor was lifted. Explain that someone should also clean up the 6th and 7th floors.
The building leader sent two men downstairs to catch the deputy captain. He thought the overall situation had been determined.
6 Is the fight wonderful?
I also think the front part of the gun battle and the middle part of the fight are wonderful. In the end, the boss battle seemed clichéd.
If you can accept that a considerable period of time has passed since the explosion, it will be easier to understand where the gunmen went. Because of the explosion, the leader's deployment was also disrupted. The building leader changed from dark to bright, and the protagonist team changed from bright to dark. The head of the building was scattered, some moved the corpse, and some guarded the main road. There is an explanation in the plot, and there are guards holding guns in the stairwell.
The protagonist should be the tenants, not the subordinates of the building manager.

The plots are very exciting all the way to the Double Battle Mad Dog. But then it became cliche.
8.5 points personally think it is appropriate.

The Raid: Redemption quotes

  • Jaka: [talking to his S.W.A.T. team] Okay, listen up. Our target is Tama Riyadi. I'm sure most of you know who I'm talking about. This man has become something of a legend in the underworld. Pushers, gangs, killers, they all respect him like a god. For the past 10 years his building has been a no-go zone for police. I don't care how big he is or who is behind him, he must be stopped. That enterprising fuck's been renting out rooms like it's an apartment, to any low-life piece of shit looking to keep his head down. Our mission is simple: we go in, and we take him out!

  • Rama: They'll come here. They'll tear this place to the ground.

Andi: We'll be long gone before they get here.

Rama: Then why do you stay?

Andi: For the same reason you stayed in that uniform - it just fits.
