1. Dense forests, remote villages, old houses, and unmanned highways set off the overall dark and depressing atmosphere well. When entering and exiting the jungle, the long-range picture makes the proportion of the characters and the background picture very large, as if being chased by a huge monster behind, the composition is good.
2. Looking for a section in the dense forest in the middle of the night, the whole picture is only illuminated by a flashlight in a small circle with black and white light, and other places are completely dark, making you feel that a monster will rush out at any time, and you dare not breathe. The part of peeking at the son from the crack of the door, after being discovered, the two sides pretended to stretch their voices and trembled to each other good night, and they both reached the standard of horror movies.
3. It's a pity that the story is not very clear. The first half of the story has a lot of lengthy foreshadowing but did not lead to too many fierce confrontations, including the crazy old woman, etc. Many places where some horror sections can be designed have been left behind. After the monster finally appeared, it felt like that.
4. Especially at the end, was it your own son who was rescued? Was it a monster that burned to death in the basement? The open ending could have been better done to add the finishing touch, but it was let go by the screenwriter, which is a pity.
