"The Last Mimzy" tells the story of little girl Emma and his scientific brother Noah and a magical toy box found by accident. The film reveals such a message: Only those with the purest heart can do things that others cannot, because the hearts of others have been polluted. Movies of this type are not uncommon, such as "The Little Prince" and "Zathura". So the impression of it is not very good.
I still watched it. And I would say, it was a really good movie. Tears welled up in my eyes, several times.
I love this movie, especially the little girl Emma, and the little rabbit Mimzy. They're all so cute, they're so adorable. Parents love their children very much. From applying for leave to solve their children's problems to working together to grab a small generator full of firepower so that Noah can save Emma, the film is very good for people to experience family affection. Although it is not as vigorous as taking a risk and committing a crime. However, parents sometimes do not let their children do a lot because they love them, like throwing away the toy box to keep Emma and Mimzy from being together. They come out of a loving heart, but they often cannot enter the hearts of children because of this.
The last scene is especially heartwarming. The family hugs each other tightly, walks into the holiday house together, and invites Mr. White and his fiancée Naomi to sit in the house. Family and friendship are perfectly reflected in the film. Lack of love.
Actually it wasn't really "the last scene". After that, I realized that it was just a story. I wonder, I have always been looking forward to a movie that can subvert reality and get out of the "dream" frame. After that, when the story was over, the children were seen "flying" home. Yes, fly. what! Finally, I was not disappointed, and finally let me see a movie like this.
However, the timing of the film is a little confusing. After seeing it, I even forgot the reason why the little rabbit Mimzy returned to earth time and space. I wanted to watch it again, but it is tiring to watch the same movie over and over again in a short period of time. Again, that's not the point. I just cried when Mimzy finally got to leave Emma to go.
It wasn't a master-servant relationship, and it wasn't that Mimzy had any bad ideas and just wanted to achieve his goals. It was a touching feeling, even though it was just a seemingly simple but virtual friendship between a living being and a non-living being. Take a look at the people around you. Who are the friends who can completely trust each other without any bad conspiracy or a mutually beneficial attitude? We've all been polluted, there's no denying it. I don't know if I should be ashamed.
Intel's trademark has also appeared in the movie, which inevitably makes people have a variety of reverie. Some people will definitely think that it is some kind of advertisement, propaganda, or even a blatant smear of the theme of the film, and everyone can make public opinions. At first glance, I can't help but have some bad impressions, maybe Intel is a big sponsor of the film, so just advertise it. After thinking about it, I think it should be nothing. Isn't the film telling you to keep a pure heart, so please don't look at this with a business mind. Intel is just Intel, don't put "you" in the name, that's not called taint!
Even though Noah doesn't strike you as cute, and despite the fact that Teacher White and Naomi look a bit like Dr. Perverts at first glance, I still love it. It is indeed a very good movie, somewhat offbeat, and makes people want to laugh and cry, happy and sad.
Watch "The Last Mimzy" and sigh. I don't know if I can be more innocent, but it seems too late...
